In September, Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden took Texas Gov. Greg Abbot to task for signing into law a bill allowing carrying of concealed weapons in churches. According to Biden, the carrying of concealed weapons in church by church members in an attempt to protect themselves and others from nut jobs who increasingly think it a good idea to commit mass shootings during church services is "totally irrational." Well, thank God the people at West Freeway Church of Christ in Tarrant County, Texas, don't go by what Joe Biden says.
Sunday, Dec. 29, at approximately 10 a.m. a nut case opened fire on people in that church with a shotgun. Two church members who were carrying concealed both shot the bad guy, one of them making a pretty amazing under the circumstances head shot, which ended the threat immediately. The whole thing can be seen on a video because the church records its services and the video is on the internet. The entire incident took 6 seconds from start to finish, and quite likely many lives were saved, proving Wayne LaPierre right: "The only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun."
I am sure there will be many, many anti-gunners making statements about this incident that start with, "Ya, but......" Let them talk, the longer the better, because all they will do is look foolish to any right thinking person who reviews this shooting.
In closing, I say as millions have said before me, what part of "shall not be infringed" don't you understand?
