Letter: Thank you for shining a light on the mental health and addiction crises in North Dakota

Ehnert writes, "We find it disappointing that we have a state legislature that for the most part tip toes around the issue, putting Band Aids on a gushing wound. We have a Legacy Fund of billions of dollars burning a hole in their pocket. What better legacy than fixing the greatest crisis we’ve faced in many generations."

Letter to the editor FSA

I would like to thank Patrick Springer and The Forum for undertaking the task of reporting on our mental health crisis in the state of North Dakota. My wife and I being parents of an adult addict understand the challenges and the shortcomings the state faces with this crisis. Enough cannot be said about the damage it does to our society.

Remember when Joe Biden claimed that he would unite America? But under President Biden, America is more divided than it ever was. What happened? Even some Republicans thought that Biden would bring some calm an unity to a very divided country. But after a year in office, Biden has done everything in his power to belittle Trump and Trump supporters, and anybody who disagrees with him. Trump's enemies, and that includes Biden, tried to label Trump as a racist. But Trump did more for Black America than any other president before him. He worked on prison reform, which helped free minorities that were behind bars for non violent offenses. He brought Black unemployment down to record lows. And when the Left, including Biden, call Trump a racist deplorable clown, it is insulting the over 70 million people who voted for Trump...including millions of Black and Hispanic voters. How do these insults unite America? Enough with the name-calling Mr. Biden and you other holier-than-thou, Democrats.
Inflation is a rise in the aggregate prices of goods and services across the entire economy. Different sectors of the economy each have their own reasons for their prices; some sectors go up while others may go down. The inflation rate tries to take the entirety of all these factors and lump them together into a single statistic.
Rachow writes, "The plain truth is that Democratic politicians don't really like elections, because they don't want to be held accountable to you, the voter, for their actions. It is much easier to govern within a one party, authoritarian system, with no checks and balances, and this bill hopes to accomplish that goal."
This month’s convincing victory over the Montana State University Bobcats earned the North Dakota State University Bison their ninth NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision national championship in 11 years. The win will no doubt cause some interesting rhetoric concerning a potential departure of the Bison football program from the FCS ranks to ramp up in earnest.
