Many people came to celebrate the new “Greetings from Fargo” mural on Sunday. This permanent artwork on the wall of the Dakotah Pioneer Center at the corner of First Avenue North and Roberts Street in downtown Fargo will offer an occasion for residents and visitors to send photographic greetings from our city to friends all around the world.

The Downtown Neighborhood Association would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who helped make this work of public art possible, and especially for the financial and logistical support offered by Hotel Donaldson, Moorhead Ace Hardware, Sherwin-Williams Paints in West Fargo, Folkways, Southeast North Dakota Community Development Agency, Doosan Bobcat, and Fargo Rentall. We are grateful to live in a community that values and supports the arts.

This letter was written by the Fargo Downtown Neighborhood Association's board of directors. Members include: Aaron Templin, Kay Schwarzwalter, Cody Schuler, Erica Rapp, Josh Hoper, Christine Hoper, Linda Hogan, Paul Gleye and Austin Foss
