Letter: There should be mandatory jail time for those involved in high-speed chases

I have not seen anything from the current legislators in Bismarck about a new law making high speed chases a felony with mandatory prison time.

We need to protect our law enforcement heroes, along with the general public. By putting in a set sentence of maybe two or three years, it would take it out of the back door deals between the lawyers and their golfing buddy judges.
