Now that we have a better understanding of President Trump’s financial worth, especially his $421 million loan liability, I would like to offer several suggestions, realizing how important Trump is to the majority of North Dakotans. I believe that North Dakota’s elected officials could be of invaluable assistance in alleviating this burden. It would seem appropriate that Gov. Burgum, Sens. Cramer, Hoeven and Rep. Armstrong, men of unwavering Trump loyalty, should take the lead in this effort.
First, they should work together as a team. After all, four heads are better than one. Working together they could set up a GoFundMe campaign. With Hoeven’s connections to the Bank of North Dakota, it would make a perfect headquarters to assist Trump. It would provide the appearance of legitimacy.
With their political influence, TV appearances, right wing radio and Fox News, a great deal of cash could be raised. Trump supporters could contribute to the fund and feel perfectly secure that their hard earned money was going to the right place.
With second thoughts, however, even some of the most ardent Trump supporters might balk at contributing anything to a man who spends $70,000 on haircuts. Maybe the GoFundMe campaign is not a good idea.
Here’s another thought, we all know that these four gentlemen have very deep pockets. Why not ask them to contribute something directly to Trump? Let’s face it, these guys are not idiots. They know how these things work. With a smart accountant who knows how to be creative, they could write off their donations as being business losses. Perfect.

Before we go to much down this road, these gentlemen should realize that I am a loser. Not just an ordinary loser, but a big sucker to go along with it. You see, I have always paid my taxes, served honorably in the military and even had a tour in Vietnam. So perhaps, you might be a little bit reluctant to take any suggestions from me. I am not the kind of guy you want to hang out with. But look on the bright side, if you could raise a substantial amount of cash, Trump might even call you, or better yet he might even throw you a big juicy government contract.
Isn’t that right, Kevin?
