In a five-day period, Cass County had 51.4% of the new coronavirus cases in North Dakota, but only received 23.7% of the ND testing. The situation got worse. Thursday's data showed that Cass had 53.3% of the new cases with only 18.9% of the testing.
I have twice sent this concern to the governor's office and received polite but non relevant responses from Maria Neset, a policy adviser to Gov. Burgum.
Hopefully, if this unfair situation is reported in The Forum, it will have more impact than my messages to the governor.
