The recent article in The Forum (Aug. 25) concerning the developments at the Fargo Public Library was very informative and demonstrated that the political process, though at times individually painful, will maintain its pulse for the sake of the public's preference.
The humiliating aspect of the entire article and countless others concerning the library over the past months is this continual reminder that the rationale for any decision-making plus or minus is because of a past event concerning a former director. And though I applaud the article, the statement communicating that LSSI has been operating since January 2001 should have ended there with a big fat period.
