Interrupting the regular programming and upsetting some local non-soccer fans one time pales in comparison to the hurt many of us feel knowing that WDAY-TV doesn't think it is feasible to show the final World Cup soccer match live.
United States or no United States, this is the biggest sporting event in the world. Brazil vs. Germany is a classic match that beats any Super Bowl, NBA Final, World Series ... and even the Stanley Cup. We wait four years to see it.
