I am writing this letter to encourage Fargo voters to strongly consider Dinah Goldenberg for school board. As her flier states, she is "a proven leader in our schools and community."
I have personally known Goldenberg for three years now. Her son was a student in my fourth-grade social studies class. She is a knowledgeable and diplomatic person - qualities that are paramount for a school board candidate. She is also a tireless worker and volunteer. She has served on PTA boards, a long-range strategic plan committee, professional development and curriculum committees, and has held many other positions that more than qualify her for the school board.
The quality that I admire most in Goldenberg is in her vision for the district.
In that vision she supports the students, the teachers, and the community equally. She can back that vision up with her diverse background and experience within the district.
When Fargo residents enter the voting booths in June they would do a great service for Fargo schools by casting a vote for Goldenberg for school board.
