This letter is to thank a very kind UPS delivery man. I only know his name is Jeff and he saw me go down very hard on any icy street in south Moorhead one day in November.
I broke my wrist and didn't know for sure about my hip, as I couldn't get up by myself. He came running over, as did two other kind ladies, who had stopped their cars to see if I was all right. Jeff offered to call an ambulance on his cell phone, but I asked that he call my husband a few blocks away and he would take me to the hospital.
All of these people waited with me in the street that cold day until my husband arrived and I asked Jeff if he would help me into the car, as my husband had recently had heart surgery and I didn't want him to lift me. He did this and wanted to know if he could help in any other way.
I thank him and the others who stopped to help me that day. There are some very kind people out there and Jeff, you were probably late on your route that day, but I hope your company will see this and tell you it was OK.
