As a local runner and bicyclist, I frequently run or ride through Fargo's northside and downtown area. I'd just like to point out how filthy downtown Fargo is.
Not only do the sidewalks going to the underpasses look as if they are ready to fall into the streets, they are filled with every kind of garbage imaginable. In the mornings, for example, you'll find Broadway and NP Avenue littered with broken glass, bottles, cans, vomit and paper. It's revolting!
My question is why can't the city keep our streets clean? I'm sure the city will be spic-and-span for the Fargo Marathon and the street fair. The cleaning needs to be done on a regular basis. The people of Fargo could help in this matter by properly disposing of their garbage when they're out and about.
