Let's review the facts: President Bush said many times that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction in vast quantities. These weapons posed an imminent danger to the United States. Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld said they knew where the weapons were. Further, they had evidence that Iraq was in league with Al-qaida.
Two months after the war, we haven't found them. If there were WMD in the quantities that the president said there were before the war, and if we have not found them yet, they must be out there somewhere. It is very unlikely that Iraq would have been able to destroy tons of WMD in a short time without a trace.
It seems to me that if the weapons were there, the bad guys have had more than enough time to get their hands on some of them. Al-qaida has no borders. Do you feel safer now?
