What I find most newsworthy on the front page of the Jan. 30 Forum is the fact that The Forum would use an Associated Press report on weather conditions we experienced here the day before for a front-page story.
This January arctic blast was the biggest story on the front page. It is January and it is bitterly cold. This is front-page news?
Midwesterners may talk a lot about the weather, but we hardly need the AP to tell us that it was very cold yesterday. How newsworthy is it that in southern Minnesota on Tuesday a blizzard caused road closures? "Yesterday's weather news" qualifies for the front page?
