Thanks to The Forum for your latest rash of articles on area "mom and pop" groups assisting dogs, birds and cats (including ferals, strays and barn cats).
These "mom and pop" groups consist of all volunteers, working hard to raise a few dollars by holding rummage sales, setting out hand-decorated donation boxes, even cleaning out their closets (or their friend's closets) for a few things to sell on eBay. They rescue refugee animals from hurricane devastation, use foster homes and even trap feral, stray or barn cats, loading them into the family car and driving to affordable spaying/neutering.
A million thanks to all the volunteers and to you (The Forum), your articles are great advertising for "the little guys" that couldn't afford it otherwise.
