I would sincerely like to thank the people on my committee and the voters who supported me for city commissioner in the June 8 election. I feel we ran a good campaign, and talked about many important issues for the city of Fargo that will certainly affect Fargo in the years to come. I plan on staying involved in the community and keeping Fargo first.
Congratulations to Linda Coates and Mike Williams on their successful campaigns. It is important to have the vision that you speak of, however, that has to be weighed against the effect it will have on our youth, economic growth, jobs and our local economy.
After the election results were in, several members of my committee asked me if I thought it was too early to start putting up billboards for the 2006 election. I said that I didn't think it was too early, but what are you thinking - commissioner or mayor?
