Ray Zajac letter: N.D. Legislative session has been especially stupid

This has to be the stupidest legislative assembly in the history of North Dakota.

First they introduced a bill to close truck weigh stations so our truck regulatory people would have to stand in sub-freezing weather and weigh trucks with portable scales.

Then they introduced a bill to make you have a health certificate every time you take your pet across the state line.

Then they introduced a bill to make it illegal to smoke anywhere in the state of North Dakota.

Then they introduced a bill to charge you $50 if you ride your bicycle out of your town.

Now they have a bill introduced that will make it a crime if you take your wife out for a night on the town and come home and have sex.

No wonder everyone's leaving North Dakota.
