What in the world has happened to The Forum? I've been reading The Forum for the past 20 years, but in just the last three or four years I have seen a marked decline in the quality of the paper as well as a definite trend toward way too much political correctness.
Most recently you eliminated Mallard Fillmore in favor of Peanuts reruns. Why? Mallard not politically correct enough for you?
The Jan. 2 Forum was a perfect example of front page news that was definitely not news. Fat cats? With all that is happening in the world and our communities today (aside from politics), surely you could have found something far more newsworthy to put on the front-page other than a ridiculous article about obese cats.
