On behalf of the 62 members of the Hankinson (N.D.) Commercial Club, thank you to the Canadian Pacific Railway for again including Hankinson on their scheduled stops for the Holiday Train. Thank you also to everyone who came to see the CP Railway's Holiday Train in Hankinson in December.
A special thank-you to all who supported the Richland-Wilkin Food Pantry with donations at the event, which yielded $3,029 in cash contributions in addition to 1,220 pounds of donated food. This is the food pantry's only fundraiser of the year, and it is very dependent upon the event's success.
We wish to remind everyone that the purpose of the CP Holiday Train is to draw awareness and support for local food pantries along its route.
Thank you again and we look forward to seeing even more of you at the event this year and surpassing the monetary and food donations received in 2007.
