The Muscular Dystrophy Association would like to extend our warmest thanks to the 700 riders who came out in support for the Independent Bikers 6th Annual Old Fashioned Run to benefit MDA.
The event on June 5 started at Hooters in Fargo and ended at Rick's and Speck's bars in Fargo for a hog and turkey feed. The ride brought in over $9,200 for MDA's local patient service programs. MDA would like to extend a very special thanks to all of the generous sponsors, riders, law enforcement officials, as well as all of the individuals who have dedicated their time and efforts to organize such a successful event for six years in support of MDA.
It has been proven over and over that the Independent Bikers care enough to make a difference. The dollars raised from events such as the Old Fashioned Run translate into direct area patient services. From summer camp and wheelchair purchases, to flu shots and support groups, local motorcyclists have made a huge difference in the fight against neuromuscular disease.
