At a recent meeting, the Fargo Moorhead Visual Artists organization voted unanimously to oppose the Cityscapes/Renaissance project in downtown Fargo. The members believe that a visual and performing arts center constitutes a greater need in the community. Further, we believe that an arts related venue would attract more people and would be a better fit with the current downtown attractions.

There were also objections to the tax structure and the general plan.

Our membership will be voting to oppose the plan on May 3. Please join us in opposition to the Cityscapes proposal.
