Does no one realize that women like to work on cars, work construction or want to watch football instead of gossiping or reading a book? I am fed up with having to deal with people who cannot comprehend the fact that I work on cars.
I am a senior at West Fargo High School and have been working on cars and drag racing, yes drag racing, since I was 10 years old. I do not wear dresses nor do I get excited for prom. Instead, I like to read about cars and who won the drag races that weekend.
So to all of you conservative, old-fashioned people, get used to it. Many people do not believe that women can handle such tasks. Not true. For example, I was racing at a local drag strip and had a guy try and pack the parachute for me. I have been doing that since I was 12 years old. I didn't even know the person.
Attention men. We can do anything you can do, so stop trying to think that we can't.
