I feel a philosophical balance is important; therefore, the new justice for the U.S. Supreme Court should not be more right wing.
At the moment, the balance of power in the three branches of government is too far to the right or Republican. This does not encourage compromise, but rather leads to arrogance and heavy-handed policy and manipulation by those in the majority.
