In regard to the recent article regarding a rift on the Fargo School Board:
You know, all of those board members are elected, and it's nice to see the Paul Meyers is asking the questions that need to be answered. It is refreshing to know that my voted didn't go to waste.
I am wondering if the board members who are upset about those questions ... ever get upset about the things that do matter in educations: like cutting back teachers to save money and spending it instead on less important items. I don't think Meyers is "bucking" the system: he's doing what we teach our kids in school to do: Ask questions and stand up for the things that are important. Would we want anything less from our school board? Frankly, it takes courage to stand up and ask questions.
