My visits with Frank Anderson have made me realize the importance of having a person in office who has taken the time this past year to learn about the issues that affect this city and the surrounding community.
First, there is no question that Anderson worked hard getting signatures on an initiated measure that will lower our taxes. If you are not in agreement with this initiative, at least the issue has been brought forward, finally. I have read a lot of articles that criticize this initiative, but the people who criticize have no solutions. Our property taxes are more than they need to be. We need new leadership to make tax changes.
Next, on his Web site at www.OurFargo.com , Anderson has some interesting pictures of the waste disposal facility in Alexandria, Minn. Why are we not doing what they do? Last, Anderson is concerned about the future water needs of the city.
If you want a commissioner who knows the issues, has the energy to promote Fargo and will represent the little guy, then you have the choice to elect Frank Anderson as your city commissioner on June 13.
