Hats off and many thanks for the great job our street department here in Fargo does to maintain and keep our streets a safe place to drive in winter and summer. I also believe we have a superb water department with excellent drinking water. Our garbage removal, forestry department and mosquito control to name a few are all very impressive.
Now it is time for the commission and mayor to carefully search for the right candidate for the position of chief of police. Let's get rid of the idea of meeting quotas by picking up the young people by intimidation. I believe there is a code of ethics that they adhere to, so let's take a new step in the right direction.
