I am writing concerning, " Arrest at Moorhead bar was a 'setup' to generate bad publicity, lawyer says," published in the Aug. 13th edition of The Forum. The story concerns a woman who was escorted out of a Moorhead bar by two police officers and during this process scratched the officer's arms when she tried to break free. In court, her attorney argued the woman had a clean record and the scratches to the officers were minor and did not require medical attention. Evidently the judge agreed and charged the woman with a gross misdemeanor instead of a felony.
