MINOT, N.D. — Kate McComb scored a power play goal in the second period to help lift Fargo North-South to a 2-0 victory against Fargo Davies for the North Dakota girls state championship Saturday at MAYSA Arena.

North-South repeated as state champions. Anna Nelson added an empty-net goal with 52 seconds remaining to ice the outcome. Nelson also added an assist.

Spruins goalie Savannah Wuitschick earned the shutout with 20 saves. Davies goalie Noelle Lewis finished with 18 saves.
