Two vehicles collided on U.S. Highway 71 west of New London early Sunday in a fatal crash. The Minnesota State Patrol closed the highway for several hours to investigate the crash and clear the road.
A Belgrade man died Thursday after his vehicle left a Stearns County road, went airborne and struck an unoccupied house near St. Martin in Zion Township.
Following an eight-hour standoff in Belgrade, Minnesota, a man was arrested for an earlier incident when a woman was stabbed. The woman was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
