The pilots were able to continue flying to the St. Paul airport, and emergency medical services and troopers provided medical aid to the injured pilot.
"Maintenance crews are unable keep up with how the road is deteriorating and there is not sufficient funding to reconstruct and pave the road," MnDOT reported in a news release.
