The Rev. Elmo Anderson is celebrating his 80th birthday this weekend with his family.
He was born April 9, 1932, in Park River, N.D. He married Norma Jordahl in 1957.
They have four children, Joel (deceased); Beth (Bert Flora), Minneapolis; Robert (Brunda Pedrini), Phoenix; and Ted (Tanya), St. Paul; and six grandchildren, Joseph, Meghan, Nathan, Ben, Stella and Lucy.
He served congregations in Doyon and Maddock, N.D., Peace Lutheran Church, Fargo, and was chaplain at Bethany Homes, Fargo. He is retired but serves part time at Trinity in Moorhead and Wyndmere, N.D., and for other congregations in eastern North Dakota.
