Jennifer Sampson and Duncan Susag, Tacoma, Wash., announce their engagement.
Parents are Jerry and Evie Sampson, Fargo; and Kathy and the late Jim Susag, Tacoma, formerly Minot, N.D.
Jennifer graduated in 2000 from Shanley High School, Fargo, and is a doctoral candidate in family social science (marriage and family therapy) at the University of Minnesota. She has a private therapy practice, is co-founder and president of The Hoarding Project and also works for Pacific Lutheran University, Tacoma.
Duncan graduated in 1994 from Bishop Ryan Catholic High School, Minot, and he attended North Dakota State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in construction management. He is owner of Sound Concrete Countertops, Tacoma.
An Aug. 19 wedding and reception is planned at Red Cedar Farm, Poulsbo, Wash.
