Tara Rae Schumacher and Colin Michael Nygaard announce their engagement.
Parents are Frank and DeeAnn Schumacher, Jamestown, N.D., and Alton and Cleo Nygaard, Des Lacs, N.D.
Tara and Colin both graduated from North Dakota State University. Tara is employed by Tao Interactive, and Colin is employed by the Bureau of Reclamation, both in Bismarck.
An Oct. 5 wedding is planned at Trinity Lutheran Church, Bismarck.
