What is your favorite place to eat in Fargo-Moorhead?
“That’s tough. I do like Olive Garden. I’m a big pasta guy. You can’t go wrong with chicken alfredo.”
What are your favorite memories of being a Bison football player?
“This is actually before I started playing. It was my redshirt year, I just came in, we were playing UNI in the playoffs. They had called a bad call on something. And the Dome got super loud. I got quiet for a second and I just realized how loud it was. I looked around and I was like ‘Wow, I’ve never heard the Dome this loud.’ Even to this day I’ve still never heard the Dome so loud.”
What do you hope to do after NDSU?

“Hopefully the NFL works and if it doesn’t work I’m going to actually go back to school to get my education degree and to become a teacher and a coach.
How did you get started playing football?
“I started playing football in the fifth grade. I actually started off at (defensive) end and I didn’t play DB until I was in high school. I started here originally playing corner and they moved me to safety last year. I never played corner until my senior year of high school. And now I’m back playing free safety.”
Do you have a pregame ritual?
“No. I usually go home and relax for a little bit, just try to get my mind off the game a little bit. We usually get time right after our pregame meal to just relax and stuff. So I usually go home and relax for a little bit then head to the Dome and just sit and listen to music.”

“Probably me. I’m for sure the fastest.”
What is a talent you have that might surprise people?
“I’m the king of video games. Every game. You put a game in, I’m probably going to win.”
Who is the best dancer on the team?
“I know I can’t dance so I’m out of it already. I’ll give it to (Aaron Mercadel). Merk’s just a good dancer in general. He can do all kinds of dances.”
What is the most overrated movie of all time?

“I’ve watched a lot of bad movies in my day. I did like the Lion King that just came out but I think people hyped it up a little bit more than I thought. I guess people thought it would be something different, but it’s the same thing.”
