Parents are Robert and Katie Shaw, Moorhead; and Jim and Teri Marks, Wichita.
Jessica graduated in 2007 from Shanley High School, Fargo, and in 2011 graduated from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, with a bachelor's degree in psychology. She is a residential assistant at Heather's House by Aid for Women, Des Plaines, Ill.
Matthew graduated in 2007 from Kapaun Mt. Carmel High, Wichita, and in 2011 graduated from Illinois Institute of Technology with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. He is an electrical engineer at Sargent & Lundy, Chicago.
A June 9 wedding is planned at St. Mary of Perpetual Help, Chicago.
