Jamie Simpson and Jeff Boschee, Kansas City, Kan., announce their engagement.
Parents are Ron and Mary Jane Simpson, Columbus, Kan.; and Floyd and Rosann Boschee, Valley City, N.D.
Jamie graduated in 2000 from Columbus Unified High School and in 2004 graduated from Kansas University with a degree in communications. She graduated from the Paul Mitchell Hair Institute and is self-employed at Primp Beauty Salon, Kansas City, Mo.
Jeff graduated in 1998 from Valley City High School and in 2002 graduated from KU with a degree in sports management and coaching. He is head basketball coach at Barstow High School, Kansas City, Mo., and is also president of the Jeff Boschee Basketball Academy, Kansas City.
An Aug. 15 wedding is planned at Queen of the Holy Rosary Church, Overland Park, Kan., followed by a reception at the Carriage Club, Kansas City, Mo.
