MOORHEAD — The Moorhead girls lacrosse team competed in the school's first Spud lacrosse game ever Monday night, April 15, against St. Cloud Area.
The Tigers beat the Spuds 16-2, but Moorhead was proud to see how far its program has come.
"From the first day of tryouts, to nobody catching balls to kind of holding our own in the second half I am super proud of all these girls," senior captain Briann Martinson said. "I think about five of them have played before, so it's like amazing to me to see them all going out there putting their hardest work out."
