FARGO - North Dakota State’s men’s basketball team, which advanced to last year’s NCAA Tournament with no seniors, will open the 2019-20 season at Kansas State, according to NDSU men’s basketball’s twitter account.
According to the tweet, the Bison will open the season in Manhattan, Kan, on Nov. 5.
Last year’s Bison won the Summit League Tournament before defeating North Carolina Central 78-74 in an NCAA Tournament First Four game in Dayton, Ohio. The Bison then lost to top-ranked Duke 85-62 to finish the season with a 19-16 record.
It was NDSU's sixth Division I NCAA Tournament game, making appearances in 2009, 2014, 2015 and 2019.
