ST. CLOUD, Minn. — The Fargo Invaders defeated the Minnesota Mud Dawgs 27-2 in non-league semi-pro football action Saturday night.

The game was shortened and called at halftime due to injuries that piled up for the Mud Dawgs with an already depleted roster.

Quarterback Ja'vonte Johnson completed 11 of 18 passes for 150 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Invaders, while Michael Wilson intercepted a pass and returned it for a touchdown near the end of the first half.

The Invaders (5-3) return to Northern Elite Football League action when they face Sioux City Stampede at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 13.
