MOORHEAD – Concordia has hired former North Dakota State women's athletic director Lynn Dorn to be a consultant for its athletic department.

"She's had a lot of experiences in a lot of different areas that we can get insight from," Concordia athletic director Rich Glas said. "It's about working toward excellence in our programs. It's not like anything is wrong with our programs. ... We want to improve on what we have."

Dorn is slated to serve as a consultant to the Concordia athletic department for 11 months, Glas said. Dorn recently retired from NDSU after 37 years at the university.
