ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Missouri Valley Football Conference has reprimanded Youngstown State head coach Bo Pelini for his on-field conduct during last Saturday's conference game against North Dakota State.

In a statement released by conference officials, it stated conference policies call for public reprimand for use of profane or unduly provocative language or action toward an official. The statement said the conference office considers this incident closed and will have no further comment on this matter.

Pelini was flagged for two unsportsmanlike penalties after a controversial pass interference call against his Youngstown defense. Two plays later, NDSU scored a touchdown with 35 seconds remaining to claim a come-from-behind 27-24 win.

The loss most likely ended Youngstown's hopes for a berth into the FCS playoffs.
