MOORHEAD-Emily Sell announced her resignation as Moorhead High School's girls hockey coach on Wednesday, April 12. Sell said it was to focus on her job at Concordia.

"With some exciting things on the horizon at Concordia, I will not have the time or energy to do the job the way I have these past three years," Sell said. "The program deserves that year-round passion and commitment."

Sell coached the Spuds the past three seasons, going 27-43-10 with two playoff wins. Sell played collegiate hockey at the University of North Dakota for one year before playing three years at Concordia. She was a captain for the Cobbers as a senior and spent two years as an assistant coach at Williston High School before coaching at the youth level in Moorhead.
