MOORHEAD-Minnesota State Moorhead's softball team dropped a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference games on Wednesday, losing to St. Cloud State 1-0 and 4-0.

Both games featured strong pitching, as there was not an extra base hit team by either team.

Freshman designated hitter Payton Gaber went 2-for-2 in the opener to account for both Dragon hits. Dragon freshman pitcher Jordan Hall allowed four hits and one unearned run, striking out one while walking three.

In the second game, St. Cloud State pitcher Kate Kopeck struck out 12 Dragon batters.
