BOYS

Fargo North 6, Devils Lake 2

FARGO—Fargo North rallied from an early 2-0 deficit to defeat Devils Lake 6-2 Tuesday night in a North Dakota East Region Tournament quarterfinal game.

Chandler Ibach and Caleb Fritel each scored two goals for the Spartans, which improved to 9-11-2 overall.

Craig Peterson and Cole Senkyr each scored a goal for Devils Lake, which fell to 9-12-1 overall.

With the win, North advances to a 6 p.m. semifinal game on Friday at Purpur Arena in Grand Forks. Devils Lake will play a noon consolation semifinal game on Friday at Purpur Arena.

Grand Forks Central 7, West Fargo Sheyenne 0

GRAND FORKS—Hunter Moreland and Zack Murphy each scored two goals to lift Grand Forks Central to a 7-0 shutout win over West Fargo Sheyenne.

With the win, Central (19-1-2) advances to a 6 p.m. semifinal game on Friday at Purpur Arena in Grand Forks.

Sheyenne (8-14-2) moves to a noon, Friday consolation semifinal game at Purpur Arena.

Grand Forks Red River 7, Fargo South-Shanley 0

GRAND FORKS—Grand Forks Red River shut out Fargo South-Shanley 7-0 in the quarterfinals of the North Dakota East Region Tournament.

Mason Salquist recorded two goals and two assists to lead Red River (18-2-2), which advances to an 8:15 p.m. semifinal game on Friday at Purpur Arena in Grand Forks.

South-Shanley (8-11-3) will play a consolation semifinal game on Friday at 2:15 p.m. at Purpur Arena.

Fargo Davies 7, Grafton-Park River 2

FARGO—Cade Stibbe scored two goals to lift Fargo Davies to a 7-2 win over Grafton-Park River in a quarterfinal game of the North Dakota East Region Tournament.

Davies, which improves to 18-2-2 overall, also got goals from Jay Buchholz, Jacob Mathson, Austin Schmidt, Ethan Mathson and Tyler Kleven.

With the win, Davies advances to an 8:15 p.m., Friday semifinal game at Purpur Arena in Grand Forks. Grafton-Park River, 7-15 overall, will play a 2:15 p.m., Friday consolation semifinal game at Purpur Arena.

GIRLS

Brainerd-Little Falls 6, Moorhead 0

BRAINERD, Minn.—Brainerd-Little Falls advanced to the championship game of the Minnesota Class 2A, Section 8 girls hockey tournament with a 6-0 win over Moorhead Tuesday.

Brainerd-Little Falls takes a 22-5 record into Friday's 7 p.m. title game at a site to be determined.

Moorhead's season ends with a 10-16-1 record.
