Concordia splits two games in softball openers
CLERMONT, Fla.—Concordia opened its softball season Sunday with an 8-5 win over Alma (Mich.) followed by a 5-0 loss to Hanover (Ind.)
In the win, Kayla Nack went 2-for-4 with one RBI while Nicole Johannes went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs and one home run. Pitcher Abigail Haraldson got the win.
In the loss, Sydney Roberts and Madi Vieth produced the only hits for Concordia. Pitchers Megan Gavin and Brynn Sundgaard combined to allow three hits.
