Bison softball team finishes 4-0 at Duke tournament

DURHAM, N.C.—North Dakota State scored the game's final five runs including Maddie Hansen's bases-loaded double in the sixth inning as the Bison beat Lehigh 6-2 in a college women's softball game Sunday.

NDSU, now 9-5 overall, finished 4-0 at the Duke University Inaugural Tournament and have won five in a row.

Jacquelyn Sertic (7-3) picked up the win in relief of starter KK Leddy. Sertic retired the last seven batters in order including a pair of strikeouts. Leddy worked the first 4⅔ innings, allowing five hits with two walks and two strikeouts.
