ST. CLOUD, Minn.-Minnesota State Moorhead split a doubleheader with St. Cloud State Tuesday, losing 9-1 and winning 8-2 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference softball.

Madison Paige drove home Elizabeth Johnson with an RBI single for MSUM's lone run in the first game.

In Game 2, the Dragons (11-18, 4-8 NSIC) exploded for six runs in the third inning, led by Ashley McCance's two-run home run to center field. Lexie Kennedy also had two RBIs in the game for MSUM.

Tori White (4-6) was the winning pitcher for the Dragons, throwing a complete-game five-hitter with one earned run, four walks and four strikeouts.
