MOORHEAD-Concordia split a double-header with St. Thomas on Friday, winning in 2-1 in extra innings before dropping the second game 6-0.

Alex Erickson pitched all eight innings in game one for the Cobbers, giving up two hits and one run while striking out five and walking three. Jack Hiedman tied the game in the top of the seventh to send it to extras when he singled home Austin Ver Steeg. Chad Johnson plated the go ahead run in the top of the next frame with a double.

Concordia reached base just twice, one hit and one walk, in Game 2.
