MOORHEAD — The Minnesota State Moorhead Dragons wrestling team and the women's swimming and diving team have canceled upcoming competitions due to COVID-19 protocols, releases from the Dragons athletics department announced.

The MSUM wrestling team canceled its dual meet against Northern State scheduled for Thursday. It is the second consecutive dual the Dragons have been forced to cancel because of COVID protocols. The Jan. 24 dual against Bismarck-Mary was also called off.

Additionally, the Dragons women's swimming and diving team has canceled its Saturday meet at Minnesota State Mankato. It follows the cancellation of the team's previously scheduled competition for Jan. 23 at Southwest Minnesota State.

COVID-19 test protocols have impacted the MSUM women's basketball program, too. The Dragons women's team has had to cancel four NSIC games: Jan. 22 and 23 against Minnesota-Duluth and the upcoming two game-series against St. Cloud State that was set for Jan. 29 and 30.

Per NSIC guidelines for this season, the competitions will not be rescheduled.
