FARGO -- The Fargo Force will need a new head coach next season. Pierre-Paul Lamoureux stepping down from the position after two years on the job. Lamoureux worked with the Force for the past five seasons, taking the head coaching job in 2019. He helped lead the team back to a Clark Cup Finals in May.

In a statement from the team, Lamoureux says he is stepping away to spend time with his family and pursue new opportunities. Associate head coach Chad Demers will also not be back, taking a job with his alma mater, Air Force Academy.

Warroad's Jayson Shaugabay will represent the United States on the ice in August. The sophomore was picked for the USA U-17 Men's Select Team that will play in the Five Nations Tournament August 17-21. Shaugabay tallied 24 goals and 30 assists for the Warriors in 2020-2021.
