Two Force players selected for prospects game

FARGO – Forward Josh Nodler and defenseman Cedric Fiedler have been selected to represent the Fargo Force in the 2019 United States Hockey League/National Hockey League Top Prospects Game to be held in Lincoln, Neb. on Tuesday, Jan. 8.

Fiedler, a 17-year-old from Switzerland who is a Western Michigan commit, will play for Team West. Nodler, a 17-year-old from Oak Park, Mich. who is a Michigan State commit, will play for Team East.

The showcase weekend for NHL Draft-eligible players will start with off-ice measurements and testing conducted by the NHL Central Scouting Service on Monday, Jan. 7 before the game on Tuesday night. Nodler and Fiedler were both given C ratings from the NHL CSS in their Nov. 12 Players to Watch list. The C rating indicates that players are considered draft prospects in the fourth, fifth and six rounds.
